    Sebastian Lee is an aspiring cellist based in Southern California. From a young age Sebastian was heavily involved in the classical music scene of his home town Bakersfield, California. Throughout highschool he was a part of the Bakersfield Youth Symphony with which he had the opportunity to tour England in 2015. He began his academic career at Bakersfield Community College earning an Associates Degree in Music. During his time there Sebastian joined the sub list for the Bakersfield Symphony. He won two concerto competitions with the Bakersfield Community College Symphonic Orchestra and soloed with the Ojai Pops Orchestra in the summer of 2019. Sebastian performed in and produced the Backyard Benefit Recital Series to which all proceeds went to the Bakersfield Homeless Shelter.  

Beginning Fall 2019 Sebastian transferred to the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University of Long Beach. He joined the studio of Joon Sung Jun where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Cello Performance. Sebastian attended the Brevard Summer Music Festival in North Carolina during their 2022 season. He is now in the middle of his Masters degree in cello performance at the Bob Cole Conservatory and is expected to graduate Spring 2024.

    As an emerging professional cellist Sebastian enjoys gigging in the Southern California region recording studio work for vocal artists and filling in for local symphonies. Sebastian is a part of a Jazz trio performing and recording in Bakersfield California. He teaches cello lessons with the Music Link foundation, the Angeles Academy of Music, and teaches privately.
